Environmental Engineering Intern

Global Capital Markets Internship – Sustainable Finance Working Group

Work Schedule: Part-Time
Description: The IIF’s Global Capital Markets Department is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated graduate student to assist with researching work for its Sustainable Finance Working Group. The research will focus on the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and the objective will be to help take stock of TCFD reports from the financial industry and other stakeholders currently in circulation. These activities will include comparing the reports’ contents, identifying good practices, and sharing findings/implications with IIF members.
Eligibility:
  • Must demonstrate interest or experience in sustainable and/or climate-related finance
  • Have excellent research and writing skills and be able to manage a substantive research project independently.
  • Possess a master’s degree in finance, economics or a related field is preferred but a comparable degree in a related discipline may be acceptable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 360 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
  • Previous knowledge and/or experience with data providers such as Bloomberg or Haver is an advantage
