Mr. Mazin Elias is a highly respected Arab-American lawyer with an impressive track record. He is a member of Offit Kurman’s landlord representation group, where he represents commercial and residential property owners, management companies, and landlords. Mr. Elias is well versed in both commercial and residential real estate law. He is widely known in law circles as an authoritative voice on the Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act, which gives renters legal protection from unfair treatment.

Mr. Elias maintains his own general civil practice, in which he represents various business owners, companies, and individuals in their legal issues and transaction matters. Previously in his career, Mr. Elias worked as a law clerk and an associate attorney.

Mr. Mazin Elias handles personal injury and liability claims and has a broad background in insurance coverage disputes. He also advises his clients on estate planning issues and manages family law matters. Furthermore, Mr. Elias has experience in appellate practice in the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and was the drafter of an appellate brief regarding indefinite alimony and divorce. In September 2009, he argued his appeal in front of the Court of Special Appeals and won!

Mr. Elias graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Computer Science, and later attended Widener University Law School, where he graduated cum laude. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, D.C., New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In addition to his experience in law, Mr. Elias works in advocacy, and is closely involved with the famous Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee! Mr. Elias is a highly accomplished individual, and we are very proud to have him on ABPA’s advisory board.
